Place in my definition is the location that can change by time, people and lot of other fact. Up to the user. One area can be many thing, as a home, a playground or the stage. Using for the different purpose. For the example, the place call park that have lots kind of people in, absolutly kids love it and enjoy playing ride but not for teenager that use playground for dating or somethingelse and for the parents, they use this place to watch their kids or take time with their family. Depend on their perception. Like place doesn't define itself to be something but the user define it to be the area for doing something. One place can be many million ways to use. That 's the reason why designer have to design it for the most advantage in each place.
