The word "design" is mean "to do or create something new with a spesific purpose." "De-" is the prefix mean to decrease or put away some and "sign" is a symbol to represent something that everyone agree to understand.
Like If I show you the picture of the tree. You should tell me it's a tree but it isn't. It's a picture of a tree. The reason that you answer like that is you read the sign that represent tree.

Phenomenology

Phenomemology in my opion is to studying based on experience. It can give me many unexpected feeling. Like how surrounding effect people and how they response to it; form, material, or the space.
In our studio project, we choose parc paragon as a site, which is in the center of bangkok, connect Siam Center and Siam Paragon together. There are crouded people walk through it. And we choose 10 sculpture to exhibit in the pavilion. Each one has different concept, shape and size. For the example, the biggest sculpture is the "garuda" which is 4.30 m hight while the smallest that we choose is "violina" which is only 85 cm hight. I think that its really hard to attrach people to interest in the sculpture and all of them have different point of view. My thought is too contour the exhibition space, make the big one lower to let people can see the different view of it by standing at the nomal level while can see the nomal eye sight by walking down the step. using mirror as the ceiling so it can  reflect the top view of the sculpture. I think it can attract more people to pay attention at it. You have force to walk through all of the sculpture and also hanging out on the step. That's my idea
