Object and thing, this two word quite similar but their is a little bit different in details. We define thing that not human as thing and object. In my opinion, Object stay still and act same but thing can change by many factor such as time etc.
From the movie "Dawn of the man", human are very close to chimpanzee and may evolution from it. What make us different than chimpanzee is we have a thought. To make things. For get more comfortable in daily life for the example is using rock and a stick of wood to create weapon to go hunt for food. We have thought to use tool for the most advantage. In this movie, the ape use bone smash the other bone to make a tool for hunt. I think this scene trying to represent that object and thing can be evolve as human change. As our brain evole, we can make thing and object better
